Snowboarder Shaun White arrested for public intoxication
Two-time Olympic gold medalist Shaun White was arrested by the authorities on suspicion of public intoxication and vandalism.
According to reports, 26-year-old Shaun White was at a Nashville hotel when he allegedly trashed his room in a drunken stupor. When he was confronted by the hotel staff, the Olympic snowboarder allegedly pulled multiple fire alarms before running off.
However, as he was trying to run away, he accidentally fell over and suffered from a nasty cut to his head. Shaun White was taken to a hospital first to seek treatment for his injuries before he was arrested on charges of public intoxication and vandalism.
Shaun’s rep could not be reached for comment on the matter.
With his seemingly rock star attitude, White is certainly the man to be talked about at the moment, especially after his performance during the 2012 London Olympic Games.
The sportsman did little to dismiss reports that he is dating model Bar Refaeli as they attended the swimming event together. The 27-year-old Israeli blonde sat next to Shaun White as they watched Team USA win the men’s 4x200m freestyle relay final.
The two were sitting behind Debbie Phelps and her daughters Hilary and Whitney as they watched Michael score his record 19th Olympic medal.
The pair were first linked after they met at the Maxim magazine Hottest Woman In The World party back in May.
