Singer and actress Sophie Monk wants some payback after her nasty car accident in 2010 that put her in a wheelchair. Now, she wants to sue the driver who is allegedly responsible for the car crash.
“Spring Breakdown” star Sophie filed the lawsuit in Los Angeles County Superior Court, claiming that driver Delvinder Sing Bains caused her “severe injuries” when his Ford Explorer crashed with the Prius she was riding in.
Days after her car accident, Sophie Monk was seen being rolled around in a wheelchair, with her foot wrapped in bandages. But now, she is walking again.
The actress doesn’t specify the extent of her injuries in the lawsuit, but she claims that the accident put her out of work for a while and racked up some serious medical bills.
Sophie Monk is suing Delvinder Sing Bains for unspecified damages, amounting to at least $25,000.
Monk was a former member of female pop group “Bardot” and released a solo album, Calendar Girl. She has appeared in films such as “Date Movie” and “Click.”
