Former co-star of the VH1 series “Single Ladies” Stacey Dash was brought to the hospital early Tuesday morning due to dehydration.
According to the rep of 46-year-old Stacey Dash, the actress was admitted to Encino Hospital in Los Angeles due to dehydration, and that she suspects it was because of a meal she ate on Sunday night. Right after Stacey ate dinner, she reportedly “hadn’t been able to hold down food or liquids … not even water.” The actress was then rushed to Encino Hospital due to dehydration and was hooked up to an IV bag. Stacey Dash has since been released a while later.
The rep of the “Clueless” star said that Stacey is currently “at home on bedrest trying to get stronger.”
Stacey Dash, who also recently co-starred in the film “Dysfunctional Friends,” has been maintaining a low profile ever since she left her Queen Latifah-produced cable hit show. Reports said that her departure from the show was not on good terms.
Dash, who played “Val Stokes” in the TV series “Single Ladies” claimed that she wanted to spend more time with her children — son Austin, 21 (whose father is former R&B heartthrob Christopher Williams) and daughter Lola, 9.
