Stephen Collins ends real-life marriage with Faye Grant

Former ’7th Heaven’ dad Stephen Collins ended his real-life marriage with fellow Hollywood celebrity Faye Grant this Monday- without informing his ex-wife of their split.
The 64-year-old Collins informed E! News that he and Grant ”are moving forward separately in our lives… She has been my dearest friend and a loving mother… I know that we’ll go through this process in a way that honors our family.”
Stephen Collins and Faye Grant married in 1985. They have one daughter, Kate.
When E! News asked Miss Grant for her side of the matter, she not only described herself to be surprised and devastated b, but also very tired.
“Stephen’s filing for divorce is a surprise,” the 54-year-old Grant says. “I am devastated. I wish him the very best in whatever path he chooses to take.”
Grant added that, “Twenty-seven years of marriage in Hollywood is the equivalent of 189 dog years. I was exhausted,” she described herself at the end of her personal ‘7th Heaven‘ with Stephen Collins.
Faye Grant starred on ABC’s ‘V’ and played Tattie McKee in ‘State of Grace.’
Stephen Collins is best known for his role as Rev. Eric Camden in the eleven-year run of 1996′s ’7th Heaven.’ He also appeared on ‘Brothers & Sisters,’ ‘Private Practice,’ ‘The Three Stooges,’ and ‘The Office.’
