Professional basketball player Stephon Marbury has just lost his Los Angeles mansion, which was reportedly sold at a foreclosure auction.
According to new court docs, Marbury owed $3.1 million on the seven-bedroom, eight-bath, 8,000-square-feet Los Angeles mansion, and the house was then sold to a buyer for $2.275 million. The court docs did not specify whether the bank plans to go after Stephon Marbury for the balance, or if the selling of his Los Angeles mansion settles his debt.
He just won a championship playing basketball for the Beijing Ducks in the Chinese Basketball Association. Stephon Marbury was an NBA All-Star back in 2001 and 2003 and was voted into the All-NBA Third Team in 2000 and 2003.
