National Football League star Terrell Ray Ward — commonly known as T.J. Ward — has been involved in a heated argument outside a Los Angeles nightclub on early Monday morning.

According to reports, media outlet TMZ was able to get a footage of an utterly pissed off Cleveland Browns safety T.J. Ward, who was just leaving Greystone Manor in Hollywood around two in the morning. Reports said that the friends of the football player were trying to restrain him, while another group was trying to restrain the man Ward was arguing with.

It was unclear why the two men were fighting, but just minutes after they spilled into the street, a couple of men dressed in uniform, who appeared to be private security officers, followed the group into the street and started brandishing pepper spray in an attempt to break up the altercation.

There was even one point when one of the men discharged his spray, and the mist hit the camera guy of TMZ in the face.

As for T.J. Ward, the 25-year-old former 2nd round draft pick left the scene of the nightclub fight eventually, and was never really seen exchanging jabs with anyone.

The Los Angeles Police Department spokesperson said that none of the police officers were called to the scene of the nightclub fight, no complaints were filed, and no arrests were made.

T.J Ward has since posted a tweet about the incident, writing, “I just want to let everyone know that nothing happened to me and that this entire situation has been blown completely up. I’m sorry for this even being made relevant.”
