There’s no one and nothing that can stop and hold back Roseanne Barr from expressing her opinions! The comedian is certainly nowhere near backing off controversies and keeping her silence about people and what she thinks of them. Hence, her ranting on Twitter about Beyonce and Jay-Z where Roseanne Barr fearlessly insulted the diva and Single Ladies singer Beyonce and her husband Jay-Z – even President Barack Obama was not an exception to Roseanne’s wrath on the said social networking site.

It all started when Roseanne Barr reacted to Beyonce’s performance at the president’s Inaugural Party in 2009. She thinks that it was a bad decision for President Barack Obama to ask Beyonce to sing Etta James’ iconic “At Last” song, instead of asking Etta James herself. Roseanne Barr’s animosity was even more fueled after Etta James passed away. She then quickly rehashed the issue on her Twitter page, castigating President Obama, Beyonce and Jay-Z:

“I lost ALL respect for Obama when he dished Etta James in favor of Beyonce. I have not listened to anything Beyonce or Jay-Z has said or recorded since they did that to Etta. Their arrogance was disgusting.”

Clearly, fans of Beyonce were seriously outraged about the comments, putting Roseanne in the hot seat. Fans of the diva incessantly tweeted Roseanne Barr back with words full of malice and disgust in revenge for what she had done.

But the outpouring of revulsion from fans did not stop Roseanne Barr from attacking Beyonce fans as well. She wrote:

“Beyonce’s fans are really ignorant-she should not be proud of entertaining drooling mutants! I just finished telling all of Beyonce’s cheesy stupid a** fans who slammed me to go and f*** themselves! It was fun!”

Amidst all the the fuss about the so-called disgrace that Beyonce did to Etta James in President Obama’s inauguration and whatnot, Roseanne Barr sparked even more mockery from Beyonce fans when she said on Twitter:

“Sanjaya gupte is a much better singer than beyonce-and his hair looks real!”

The comedian was actually referring to “American Idol” season six contestant Sanjaya Malakar who, despite being ousted in the contest, became a national and viral sensation. Roseanne Barr accidentally mixed-up the name of the American Idol singer with Dr. Sanjay Gupta, a CNN health analyst.

Two days later, Barr wrote:

“I sincerely want2 apologize 4 the rude comments I made 2 twitters defending the fabulously talented Beyonce. I reverted 2 stand up slams.”

And come Monday, Roseanne Barr revisited her weekend topics:

“I will ask Queen Bey 2 sing when I’m sworn in as POTUS. I want her to sing the song, ‘People’ or perhaps, ‘Respect’-she will do a great job . . . I will ask Bey to sing Barbra’s ‘people who need people.”

What does Beyonce have to say about herself as well as for beau Jay-Z about all the bashing from Roseanne Barr? We’ll have to stay tuned for that!
