Former child actor Edward Furlong — who starred in the action movie “Terminator 2: Judgment Day” in 1991 — found himself in hot water again following his arrest early Tuesday morning for felony domestic violence after allegedly getting into a physical fight with his girlfriend.

According to law enforcement sources, police responded to an arrivals gate at LAX Airport shortly after midnight Tuesday to check a report of a couple arguing. “American History X” star Edward Furlong allegedly grabbed the arm of the woman he was with, leaving a mark.

Troubled actor Furlong was immediately taken into police custody and was booked on suspicion of felony domestic violence involving a spouse or girlfriend. However, the authorities did not identify the woman allegedly injured in the physical argument.

As of press time, Edward Furlong is still sitting in jail, and his bail has been set at $50,000.

This is not the first time Edward Furlong got arrested. When he got hospitalized in 2001 for a suspected heroin overdose, the actor has been picked up several times for public intoxication, for driving while intoxicated and driving without a license. Back in September 2009, he was arrested for allegedly threatening and punching Kneeland during a brawl, while last year, Furlong was arrested and put in jail again after he violated a restraining order requiring him to stay away from his wife.

Meanwhile, the divorce of Edward Furlong from wife Rachael Kneeland is still pending, amidst Kneeland’s allegations that the actor abused drugs and threatened to hire someone to beat her up. The former couple got married back in 2006 and have one son who is now six years old.

Furlong is a two-time Saturn Award nominee, winning the 1992 Saturn Award for Best Performance by a Younger Actor for his work in “Terminator 2.” He also won the 1992 MTV Movie Award for Best Breakthrough Performance for his work in the film.

Former NFL running back Larry Johnson has been arrested Friday after he allegedly assaulted a woman at a Las Vegas Strip resort by strangling her and leaving her in her underwear in a hotel hallway.

According to reports, 32-year-old Larry Johnson — a former member of the Miami Dolphins — was being held on $15,000 bail at the Clark County jail pending an initial court appearance for his domestic violence charge, which could get him a minimum of two years in a state prison in case he is convicted.

Larry Johnson was arrested about 4:30 in the morning at the Bellagio resort in Las Vegas. The police report stated that Johnson and the alleged victim had been drinking alcohol before the violent altercation occurred, and that the woman had marks on her face and bruises on her neck.

The former running back, who resides in North Bay Village, Florida, also had marks on his face that police attributed to the woman struggling to fight the massive Johnson as he was choking her. The woman, meanwhile, told the police that he would have to squeeze harder and get it over with if he was going to kill her.

The alleged victim said she woke up in the 10th floor hallway of the Bellagio resort and knocked on doors until someone called hotel security. It was not clear from the police report if the woman was hospitalized or received medical treatment for the injuries she sustained during the altercation with Larry Johnson.

Las Vegas police spokesman Marcus Martin said that he had no information about the woman’s condition. The arresting police officer said Johnson and the woman each told him about their previous physical altercations, which includes one at another Las Vegas Strip hotel.

At one point, Larry Johnson pretended to run away from hotel security officers and told one security officer he would rip out his vocal chords, the police report said. Yvette Monet, a spokeswoman for Bellagio resort owner MGM Resorts International, cited guest privacy policies and refused to give a comment on the incident.

However, Johnson claims the strangling story is false. The former NFL star told media outlet TMZ that the woman — who he says was just an old acquaintance — would not leave his hotel room after a night of partying at Bank Nightclub. Larry Johnson said the alleged victim began to slap and kick him as he tried to remove her from his room.

Johnson added once he got her outside his hotel room, she began to try and kick the door down — which Johnson feels should have been caught on surveillance cameras, proving she was never near unconsciousness.

The former running back also said he tried to tell cops his side of the story, but they allegedly did not take his word for it, saying he felt his prior arrests influenced their behavior.

Larry Johnson said, “I know people will try to pass judgement on me from my previous record but I didn’t do what I am being charged with.”

Johnson starred for the Kansas City Chiefs after being drafted from Penn State in the first round of the 2003 NFL draft.

Pop singer Rihanna broke down in an interview with TV host Oprah Winfrey, telling her that she felt protective of former boyfriend Chris Brown after he beat her up back in 2009, concerned that everyone would think of him as a bad guy.

According to reports, during a rare emotional interview with Oprah Winfrey that is set to air on Sunday, “Umbrella” singer Rihanna went into the details about the highly publicized assault that went down more than three years ago — telling Winfrey that the days and weeks after the battery left her ashamed and confused.

“It was embarrassing, it was humiliating,” Rihanna told Oprah Winfrey in the interview, excerpts of which were released on Thursday. “I lost my best friend. Everything I knew switched, switched in a night, and I couldn’t control that.”

Rihanna added, “It was a weird, confusing space to be in. Because as angry as I was – as angry and hurt and betrayed – I just felt like he made that mistake because he needed help. And who’s going to help him?”

“Nobody’s going to say he needs help. Everybody’s going to say he’s a monster, without looking at the source. And I was more concerned about him,”

“I lost my best friend … everything I knew switched … switched in a night and I couldn’t control that,” 24-year-old pop star Rihanna added.

Previous reports have stated that Rihanna was left battered and bruised from the beating initiated by Chris Brown in Los Angeles on the eve of the Grammy Awards back in February 2009. Brown, who was 19 years old at the time and an R&B singer rising to fame, entered a guilty plea to the assault charges and was subsequently sentenced to five years probation, community service and domestic violence counseling.

Chris Brown gave a public apology after the battery incident with Rihanna, but his music career and public image has been tainted since the incident. After his career took a dive, it has since recovered, and he even won his first Grammy Award earlier this year for the hit album “F.A.M.E”.

Rihanna has rarely opened up emotionally in public about the events of that night.

TV host Winfrey, who interviewed Rihanna in the Hollywood star’s home in Barbados, said in a promotion for Sunday’s show that she had started with a preconceived idea of Rihanna, basing her notions on the provocative music videos and sexually-charged lyrics of the singer, but her view changed quickly during the interview.

“I thought she was going to be kind of a badass, kind of a hard-edged rocker, pop woman. Nothing could have been further from the truth,” Oprah Winfrey said of Rihanna.

Former NFL star Chad Johnson is apparently not a stranger to domestic battery — because media outlet TMZ reported that the football player was secretly found guilty of assaulting a woman back in 2000 — 12 years before he allegedly struck again, this time with his new wife, Evelyn Lozada.

According to the court records, Chad Johnson has been arrested before on a charge of misdemeanor domestic battery in Los Angeles on February 7, 2000 — just before he began playing football for Oregon State University.

Sources close to the domestic battery case said that the victim was Johnson’s girlfriend at the time, and she told the police that Chad had slapped her in the face after accusing her of having an affair with another guy.

The court records also stated that Chad Johnson — who was 22 years old at the time — pled no contest to the domestic battery charge, and that the court found him guilty.

The football star was subsequently sentenced to three years probation and ordered to serve 45 days in Los Angeles County jail. But then, Johnson was able to strike a deal with the court which allowed him to avoid doing prison time — as long as he completed 30 days of graffiti removal work with CalTrans. At the time, Chad Johnson was also required to complete 12 months of batterer’s counseling program and ordered to stay 100 yards away from his assault victim.

However, court records stated that Johnson did not complete the said probation requirements in a timely manner, blew off the labor, as well as the domestic battery program for years. After a judge tacked on an additional 15 days of graffiti removal, Chad Johnson finally completed his legal obligations in 2002 — the time when he was playing for the Cincinnati Bengals.

Now, the football star is embroiled in a similar domestic battery incident after he was accused of assaulting a woman again — this time, his wife, “Basketball Wives” star Evelyn Lozada — whom he married six weeks ago.

This time, Chad Johnson told the police that he did not do anything wrong. He is expected back in court soon to enter his plea on the case.

Reality TV star Evelyn Lozada has just filed for divorce from NFL player Chad Johnson, following their argument which led to the football star headbutting his wife.

According to reports, the “Basketball Wives” star filed the legal documents in Florida on Tuesday, claiming her six-week marriage with Miami Dolphins wide receiver Chad Johnson is “irretrievably broken.”

Lozada’s decision to file for divorce was triggered by the domestic violence incident over the weekend, where Chad Johnson allegedly headbutted his wife during an altercation. Evelyn Lozada said she found a box of condoms inside the car of her husband and decided to confront Johnson about it, and the two had a discussion about it, leading to the football player’s arrest after he physically assaulted the reality star. Lozada had a visible three-inch gash on her forehead when police arrived at the scene after she called for help.

“Given recent events in my client’s life, she has decided to file for divorce and move forward with her life,” Lozada’s lawyer, Michael Gilden told The News.

“I am deeply disappointed that Chad has failed to take responsibility for his actions and made false accusations against me,” 36-year-old Evelyn Lozada said in an earlier statement. “It is my sincere hope that he seeks the help he needs to overcome his troubles. Domestic violence is not okay and hopefully my taking a stand will help encourage other women to break their silence as well.”

In a 911 call released by police Monday, Evelyn Lozada can be heard in the background telling a neighbor that Chad Johnson was to blame for the assault.

“She probably is gonna need stitches,” the neighbor told the 911 emergency dispatcher after the reality star fled to his residence.

The neighbor of Evelyn Lozada called the incident a “little domestic dispute” and asked the 911 operator to “not make a big scene about it.” He also expressed concern that the NFL star was out searching for his wife.

“I don’t want him to come in here and get mad at me,” the neighbor said. “We don’t know if he’s home, or looking for her, or calmed down.”

Chad Johnson was subsequently released from a Fort Lauderdale prison on Sunday morning after posting a $2,500 bond.

In light of the divorce filing, Chad Johnson issued a statement in his website on Tuesday, apologizing for the recent events that happened.

The Dolphins wide receiver wrote, “I would like to apologize to everyone for the recent events that have occurred. I would like to wish Evelyn well and will never say anything bad about her because I truly love her to death.”

“I will continue to be positive and train hard for another opportunity in the NFL,” Johnson said in his apology. “To all the fans and supporters I have disappointed, you have my sincerest apologies. I will stay positive and get through this tough period in my life.”

Evelyn Lozada and Chad Johnson got married last July 4 in St. Maarten, and the whole wedding ceremony was recorded for a VH1 reality show — which VH1 decided to cancel.

“Due to the unfortunate events over the weekend and the seriousness of the allegations, VH1 is pulling the series ‘Ev and Ocho’ from its schedule and has no current plans of airing it,” the cable station said in a statement.

NFL star Chad Johnson has finally broken his silence on Tuesday and issued a written apology on his official website — three days after his arrest for domestic violence charges.

According to the statement of Chad Johnson — formerly known as Chad Ochocinco in reference to his jersey No. 85 — he “would like to apologize to everyone for the recent events that have occurred.” The wide receiver then added, “I would like to wish [wife] Evelyn Lozada well and will never say anything bad about her because I truly love her to death.”

“I will continue to be positive and train hard for another opportunity in the NFL,” he added. “To all the fans and supporters I have disappointed, you have my sincerest apologies. I will stay positive and get through this tough period in my life,” Chad Johnson said.

The football player’s statement comes just hours before his arrest and consequent release will play heavily in the season’s second episode of Hard Knocks.

HBO announced that its reality-TV program will show Miami Dolphins coach Joe Philbin meeting with and cutting Chad Johnson off the football team, hours after his domestic violence arrest last Saturday. The said show airs at 10 p.m.

Chad Johnson spent a night behind the cold bars of prison on charges he head-butted Evelyn Lozada after the newly-wed couple had an argument, following the reality star’s confrontation about a receipt for condoms she found on Johnson’s vehicle .

Media outlet TMZ reported on Tuesday that Evelyn Lozada has already filed for divorce from Chad Johnson, dissolving a marriage that is less than two months old.

Earlier, Evelyn Lozada spoke out for the first time since the domestic violence incident. She also released a statement of her own, “with great sadness and much trepidation.”

“I am deeply disappointed that Chad has failed to take responsibility for his actions and made false accusations against me, it is my sincere hope that he seeks the help he needs to overcome his troubles,” the “Basketball Wives” star said. “Domestic violence is not OK and hopefully my taking a stand will help encourage other women to break their silence as well. I’m grateful to my family, friends and fans for the outpouring of support during this difficult time.”

During the practice of Miami Dolphins on Tuesday, Reggie Bush — one of the closest friends of Chad Johnson on the football team — said that he has already spoken to the team’s wide receiver.

“Obviously, he’s hurt,” Bush said. “What do you expect? He’s not happy he lost his job, but Chad will be fine. He’ll bounce back. He’s a grown man and he’ll be OK.”

The Miami Dolphins has reportedly cut off their wide receiver Chad Johnson — just 24 hours after his arrest for domestic violence when he allegedly headbutted new wife, Evelyn Lozada, following a heated argument.

According to sources close to Chad Johnson, he had a meeting with Miami Dolphins head coach Joe Philbin on Sunday. After the meeting, Fox Sports’ Jay Glazer reported that the football team has decided to drop Johnson.

Previous reports have stated that the NFL star was arrested on Saturday night and booked for domestic violence after he allegedly headbutted his wife, “Basketball Wives” star Evelyn Lozada. He spent the night in jail and was later released on $2,500 bond.

Adam Swickle, the lawyer of Chad Johnson, said in court, “Mr. Johnson has been a resident of the state of Florida for pretty much his entire life. He has no prior offenses, and essentially, we’re asking for the court to set a standard bond.”

Miami Dolphins spokesman Harvey Greene originally said the team was “aware of the situation” and were in the process of gathering of relevant information.

Chad Johnson signed with the Dolphins back in June, four days after he was released by the New England Patriots. A six-time Pro Bowl receiver with Cincinnati, he caught only 15 passes in 15 games for the Patriots last year after they acquired him in a trade for a pair of draft picks.

“Basketball Wives” star Evelyn Lozada has been released from the hospital after being admitted when her husband, Chad Johnson, headbutted her during a heated argument.

According to previous reports, Evelyn Lozada was admitted to the emergency room of West Side Regional hospital on Saturday night in Florida after her new husband, NFL star Chad Johnson allegedly headbutted her during an argument over condom receipts and their marriage.

Sources said that Evelyn was treated for injuries stemming from the physical argument and remained at the hospital for several hours. She was then released early Sunday morning.

TMZ sources said that the reality star is currently staying with close friends.

Meanwhile, Chad Johnson has also been released from Broward County Jail on one charge of domestic violence. The NFL player posted $2,500 bond.

Adam Swickle, the defense attorney of the football star said that a no-contact order has been issued which prevents Johnson from contacting Evelyn Lozada. Swickle then declined to comment any further.

In case he is convicted, Johnson faces a maximum penalty of one year in jail and a $1,000 fine. He might also be required to do community service or complete probation or anger management classes.

Before marrying Johnson, Evelyn Lozada was previously engaged to NBA star Antoine Walker. The former couple had a ten-year relationship, which eventually came to an end. Her courtship with NFL star Chad was documented on “Basketball Wives” and they tied the knot in Saint Martin on July 4, 2012.

After former WWE star Andy Slocum — better known by his ring name Jackson Andrews — was accused of physically assaulting his fiancee Rosa Mendes in Las Vegas, his “other” fiancee in Texas dumped the wrestling star.

Previous reports have stated that Andy Slocum was named in a police report filed by Rosa Mendes, wherein she claimed that the former wrestling star beat her up on several occasions in the home they shared together in Las Vegas.

However, this story came as a shock to a woman named Amber Stovall — who apparently thought that she was exclusively engaged to Slocum. The two have been dating for the past four and a half years.

Amber Stovall told media outlet TMZ, “I was not aware of his double life with Rosa,” adding, “I’m incredibly angry and I feel betrayed.”

Stovall, who said that she shared a home in Houston Texas with Andy Slocum and they have two bulldogs, said, “I was blindsided by the TMZ story. He had just flown me out to Vegas the weekend after July 4th and we made plans for him to return home to Houston at the end of August.”

TMZ also reported that Rosa Mendes, who’s a WWE Diva, was in Texas on the weekend after the 4th of July, when he flew Amber Stovall to Las Vegas.

However, Amber insisted that Andy Slocum was never violent with her, saying, “He’s never even raised his voice to me.”

After learning about the Rosa Mendes news, Stovall has since called off her engagement with the former WWE star, noting, “He has not reached out to me despite my efforts to contact him since I found out about Rosa. So as of today, I have cut off all joint accounts which includes his cell phone.”

Several calls to Andy Slocum for comment have not been returned.

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant allegedly hit his mother in the face using his baseball cap, then proceeded grabbing her by the shirt so hard that he ripped her bra — this according to the arrest documents of the football star.

According to reports, Angela Bryant, the mother of the NFL star can be heard telling her friends in an emotional 911 that her son “tried to kill me” and that she is going to “put an end to it today.”

The arrest records that have been released on Tuesday by the DeSoto Police Department in Texas said that Angela told the police officers that Dez Bryant hit her across the face with a baseball cap, pulled her hair, tore her shirt and bra, then repeatedly hit her hands and wrists when she tried to push him away.

“Babe, I can’t keep letting him do this. . . . I can’t let him do me like this. I’m tired. I’m going to put an end to it today,” 37-year-old Angela Bryant can be heard telling someone in the room when she made her 911 call.

Dez Bryant surrendered to the police on Monday on a Class A misdemeanor warrant for assault, with bodily injury. The football star immediately posted bond after the incident. If he is convicted, he may spend time behind bars up to one year, plus a $4,000 fine. However, according to an NFL official, even if Dez Bryant is not found guilty of the criminal charge, he could still face discipline under the National Football League’s personal conduct policy.

The assault reportedly started at the house of Angela Bryant at 800 block of West Pleasant Run Road in DeSoto, Texas around 1:15 in the afternoon, Saturday. Angela placed a 911 call from a friend’s nearby house in the 900 block of Longmeadow Lane, telling the authorities that her son was now there.

“He won’t go home. I keep telling him to go home. He won’t go,” Angela can be heard telling the dispatcher, as a man can be heard shouting in the background.

Angela Bryant told the dispatcher at a later time that Dez Bryant has already left in a white Pearl Lincoln Navigator, bearing the license plate “BAILME.” She added that no one had been drinking alcohol or taking drugs and that her son, brother and a friend were present when the physical assault happened.

When Angela Bryant was asked if anybody was armed with a weapon, she answered “not yet” but said that Dez Bryant had picked up a ball and tried to hit her with it.

“And then he grabbed me. You’ll see when you get here how my clothes look,” Angela told the dispatcher.

During a news conference on Tuesday morning, DeSoto Police Department Captain Ron Smith said that the authorities did not arrest Dez Bryant immediately because they did not see any evidence of the alleged physical assault. However, evidence of the injuries inflicted upon Angela Bryant surfaced a day or two later.

According to the affidavit, the injuries, which included swelling to the Angela’s wrists and around her left thumb, plus bruising on her upper arms as well. Angela also complained of pain in her hands, arms and wrists, as well as soreness in her chest due to the pushing done by Dez Bryant.

“It’s pretty straightforward,” Smith said. “He and his mom got in an argument. It is physical. She got some injuries. We made the arrest.”

Captain Ron Smith said he did not know what started the argument that turned violent.

“Whatever led to it is really not an issue for us,” Smith said. “We have an injured person. We have a suspect. We’re going to move forward.”

The Dallas Cowboys wide receiver was unavailable for comment on Monday, but his attorney, Royce West, said that his client voluntarily turned himself in when he learned that a warrant of arrest is out for him, and cooperated with police.

The Dallas Cowboys team released a statement on Monday regarding the incident through spokesman Rich Dalrymple:

“We are in the process of gathering information and will not have a comment at this time.”

The incident occurred less than two weeks before the start of the 2012 training camp of the football team, which begins officially on July 29 in Oxnard, California.
