Charlie Sheen rep: Strip club “despicable parasites”

The representative of Charlie Sheen called a strip club “despicable parasites” for having the cheek to actually host a party in the room they named after the recently sobered-up actor.
Earlier, E! News reported that the Cheetahs Gentlemen’s Club -a strip club on New York City’s Times Square- had opened a ‘Charlie Sheen VIP Room’ on its premises. The ‘Anger Management’ star immediately got his attorney on the case.
But threats of legal action did not faze the club at all. In fact, Cheetahs planned to open the ’Charlie Sheen VIP Room‘ to reporters on Thursday evening, with the night’s feature being the ‘Art of Body Sushi.’
“Charlie has nothing to do with this,” Sheen’s rep, Larry Solters, told E! News in an exclusive interview, “And it is unfortunate that these despicable parasites have not been exterminated.”
According to the invitation for tomorrow night’s eat-and-greet, Sam Zherka, president of Cheetahs’ parent company, attempted to persuade Sheen not to “kill his own party.”
The Cheetahs shindig is apparently going down another way, though. Sheen’s attorney, Martin Singer, sent a cease-and-desist letter to the club. And according to Singer, Cheetahs Gentlemen’s Club complied.
“This matter has nothing to do with Sheen’s reputation,” the attorney of Charlie Sheen told the New York Post. ”You can’t use any celebrity name to promote a business without permission. They had no right to use his name.”
