Tami Roman of “Basketball Wives” and her former NBA-playing ex-husband Kenny Anderson have finally settled a child support lawsuit worth $800,000 after the couple battled for almost nine years.
According to previous reports, Tami Roman filed a lawsuit in New Jersey back in 2005 against retired NBA star Kenny Anderson. The reality star claimed that he had stopped paying the court-ordered $8,500 per month in child support for their two daughters, which totals to $800,000 in missed payments.
Sources close to Tami claim that the former couple recently settled the case out of court. It is said that the “Basketball Wives” star received just what she was owed and will be paid by Anderson incrementally through the NBA star’s retirement fund.
Sources also claimed that all warrants issued against Kenny Anderson for his unpaid child support have been dropped already. Sources added that Tami Roman is happy that her former husband is becoming more involved with their two children and is ready to move on from this chapter of her life.
“BB Wives” star Tami Roman goes to police over hacked Twitter account

“Basketball Wives” reality star Tami Roman reportedly went to the police, claiming that she is a victim of an Internet hacker who was able to hijack her Twitter and email accounts simultaneously.
According to sources close to the 42-year-old reality star, Tami Roman was hacked sometime on Friday night. A friend of Tami tipped her off that someone had taken over her Twitter account, which had over 600,000 followers. The hacker declared himself in charge of the reality star’s Twitter account. Aside from the microblogging account, the hacker was also able to hack into Tami’s email account and altered her personal security questions. Sources said that the reality star has used her email account for 14 years and now she is scared that she will lose a lot of her personal information.
Sources added that Tami Roman reached out to Twitter and AOL, but so far she did not receive a response yet. The reality star also reported the cyber crime to the local New Jersey Police, who are currently investigating the account hacking case.
Tami Roman of “Basketball Wives” faces hair endorsement lawsuit

“Basketball Wives” star Tami Roman is facing a lawsuit due to a hair endorsement deal that she didn’t quite “endorse.” Reports say Roman signed an endorsement deal with a line of hair extensions wherein she promised to feature and promote on her show, but did not. What’s more, she featured her own hair line on the show instead.
According to a lawsuit filed earlier this month in Texas, Tami Roman agreed to become a spokesperson for Crème De La Crème Hair. The lawsuit states that Crème says part of the deal called for Roman to “have an appearance on VH1′s ‘Basketball Wives’ where she will talk about her hair line with the Crème’s owners.” However, according to Crème, Tami bailed on every attempt they made to coordinate their appearance on the show.
The last straw for Crème De La Crème Hair came last month when Tami Roman was supposed to promote their product at a hair show in Atlanta. The company claims the reality star showed up as planned together with “Basketball Wives” film crew, but was there promoting her own line of hair which is in competition with Crème. They also claim Tami’s manager instructed the crew not to film anything about Crème.
So now, Crème De La Crème Hair is suing Tami Roman for damages in excess of $75,000 and they want the footage shot for “Basketball Wives” pulled from the show unless it’s edited to feature them.
Tami Roman released a statement, saying, “My responsibility is to my fans and supporters. I can no longer be affiliated with a company that does not uphold my standards with regard to quality business practices.”
