The wedding of rapper The Game has been officially called off, and the singer claims that he is at fault.

According to reports, 32-year-old The Game proposed to his longtime girlfriend,Tiffney Cambridge, in October and they had struck a deal to appear in a wedding reality show, which would follow the couple around right up until their “I dos” at a July 28 ceremony.

However, on Thursday, the couple announced that their wedding had been called off. The Game took to his Twitter account to explain about his broken engagement with Tiffney Cambridge, insisting that he is the one to blame. In a series of tweets, the rapper suggested that he had failed to appreciate his fiance, the mother of his two children, until it was too late.

The Game wrote, “The rumors are TRUE. The wedding is OFF. It’s not her [Tiffney Cambridge] fault, it’s mine! She’s a GREAT woman, I just wasn’t man enough 2 see it through.”

The Dreams hitmaker has since made an apology to his family and friends, writing “Not everyone has a happy ending.”

The Game — whose real name is Jayceon Terrell Taylor — also gave a piece of relationship advice to his fellow males, writing, “Important message to all men: If you’re lucky to have 1/2 of the woman I had … Appreciate her & do everything necessary to keep her happy! I am truly sorry & apologetic to my family, friends & EVERYONE that this has affected & inconvenienced. Not everyone has a happy ending.”

The separation of Game and Tiffney Cambridge comes less than a week after the rapper revealed that he had signed a deal with executives at 51 Minds Entertainment to document their wedding and its journey to the altar for a new reality TV show. Game has yet to comment on the status of the program in light of their break up.
