Tori Vance, former Miss Arizona Teen USA, has been officially charged with driving under the influence after she was arrested for making an illegal U-turn in Hollywood earlier last month.
According to reports, 18-year-old Tori was pulled over by the police after a traffic violation. When the cops approached her car, Tori Vance displayed signs of intoxication so they decided to give her a roadside field sobriety test, which she failed when the result showed that her blood alcohol content is over the legal limit of .08. Tori was then arrested for misdemeanor driving under the influence.
Tori Vance is now facing two counts of DUI and might get up to six months behind bars if she is convicted. And because she is underage, Tori could lose her license for one year.
Speaking to TMZ for the first time after her arrest, the former Miss Arizona Teen USA said, “I’m truly sorry as my conduct was wrong and not a reflection of who I really am.”

The arrest of the beauty queen is just the latest addition to the roster of troubled beauty queens. Last month, former Miss USA Rima Fakih was sentenced to probation plus community service after she was arrested in December due to drunk driving charges as well. Fakih, who won the crown in 2010, pleaded no contest after the two sobriety tests placed her blood alcohol content at more than twice the legal limit.
