Two Atlanta white police officers whom actor and director Tyler Perry accused of racial profiling after a prolonged traffic stop have just been cleared of all allegations — this following an internal investigation made by the Atlanta Police Department.

According to the investigation report, the two Atlanta officers were let off the hook after a four-month internal investigation concluded that “the actions of both officers with the regard to the traffic stop of Mr. Perry were justified, lawful and proper.”

In a lengthy Facebook post detailing his version of events, “Alex Cross” actor Tyler Perry claimed that back in February, he was on his way from his Atlanta-area studio to the airport when he was apprehended by two white police officers for making an illegal turn.

After Tyler Perry explained that he made the turn to make sure he was not being followed, the cops allegedly turned hostile all of a sudden, repeatedly questioned him and refused to let him go.

“It was so hostile. I was so confused,” Perry wrote in his Facebook post. “It was happening so fast that I could easily see how this situation could get out of hand very quickly. I didn’t feel safe at all.”

The filmmaker claimed that it was only when a third officer, who was a black man, arrived at the scene and recognized Tyler Perry that he was allowed to go his way.

However, the Atlanta police department’s investigation has a different side to the incident.

According to the report, the two white police officers — who were members of an auto theft task force — flagged down Tyler Perry because his sports car resembled a vehicle which had been reported stolen.

One police officer denied stopping the filmmaker because he was black, while the other claimed he “didn’t look at the driver” before the traffic stop.

The report also states that the third Atlanta police officer—who had recognized Tyler Perry—told his colleagues that “the guy was a billionaire” and confirmed that the vehicle couldn’t have been stolen.

The investigation found that the cops’ only questionable actions were that they did not alert dispatchers about the traffic stop, and that one of them reached into Perry’s car to turn off the engine.

Tyler Perry’s rep refused to give a comment on the investigation.

Last year, the multi hyphenate filmmaker topped Forbes magazine’s list of the highest-paid men in entertainment, with a tremendous $130 million in earnings between May 2010 and May 2011.

Tyler Perry sounded ready to take Madea’s gun to RadarOnline for claiming that Bobbi Kristina Brown walked off Perry’s new show.

According to Gossip Cop, webloid RadarOnline alleged that Bobbi Kristina “has walked off her new TV show, ‘Tyler Perry’s For Better or Worse.’” In a supposedly exclusive report, RadarOnline claimed that the aspiring actress “quit the TBS comedy a few weeks ago”  because she was still grieving over her late mother Whitney Houston.

A RadarOnline “insider” alleged that Bobbi Kristina Brown “walked off the set” of ‘For Better or Worse’ “so quietly that barely anyone noticed.” According to the site, it was a “fast exit for the troubled teen.”

“She thought she was ready for this,” another supposed source of RadarOnline was quoted as saying, “But she wasn’t.”

In came Tyler Perry himself to defend the daughter of Whitney Houston. Gossip Cop reported that Perry slammed the RadarOnline claims in a blog post on Wednesday.

“NOT TRUE AT ALL PEOPLE!!!” Perry thundered. “There is no way that she could have walked off the set,” he rebuked, “Because we have finished taping the season.”

In the blog, Tyler Perry talked about meeting with Bobbi Kristina Brown after the funeral of Whitney Houston. There was “no better way for me to help her move through the grieving,” Perry explained on his blog post, “Than by giving her something to focus on.”

Perry acknowledged that there were “tough days for her” on the set of ‘For Better or Worse’. However, Bobbi Kristina “managed to finish her obligation and did a great job at the same time,” Perry stated.

The Atlanta-based Madea mogul proceeded to chew out the media for taking advantage of Bobbi Kristina. “PLEASE LEAVE THIS BABY ALONE!!!!” he wrote. “AND SHE IS A BABY!!!” Tyler Perry added.

In a calmer tone, Tyler Perry called for the media to “Please stop the lies.” Perry urged that Bobbi Kristina Brown be given “some room to breathe and grieve.”

The world of Mabel Simmons went up in smoke Tuesday night as the Atlanta studio complex where Tyler Perry shoots his popular ‘Madea’ movies caught fire.

TMZ reported that a three-alarm fire broke out at Tyler Perry Studios shortly before 9PM ET. One building had already partially collapsed. The 60-acre studio includes five sound stages, a backlot, and Perry’s offices.

When the news first broke out, there were no immediate reports of injuries. No one was immediately able to offer any explanation as to what caused the fire.

At around 9:30 PM PST, the Atlanta Fire Rescue Department stated that the fire had been brought under control around 9:45 PM EST, about an hour after firefighters arrived. The statement also said that the fire became so severe that they needed to call a fourth alarm.

No one  was injured by the fire. The cause is still under investigation. Tyler Perry himself has yet to make any announcement.

Actor Tyler Perry is reportedly accusing Atlanta police officers of racial profiling after he was pulled over due to a traffic violation.

According to reports, Perry was spotted by the Atlanta police after making a left turn in a right lane. The actor explained in his Facebook that his action was for security purposes to make sure that he wasn’t being followed. Then, two white police officers pulled him over, but did not recognize him at once. Tyler Perry explained his illegal turn was to make sure that no one was tailing him, then he said one of the police officers asked him, “What is wrong with you? Why do you think someone would be following you?”

The next thing Tyler Perry knew, the other Atlanta police officer was “banging” on his passenger’s side window, apparently taking issue with the window’s tint, the actor detailed in his Facebook post.

Tyler Perry went on saying that both officers continued to “badger” him about why he thought someone may be following him, he said he recalled his mother’s advice:

“My mother would always say to me, ‘if you get stopped by the police, especially if they are white policemen, you say ‘yes sir’ and ‘no sir’, and if they want to take you in, you go with them. Don’t resist, you hear me? Don’t make any quick moves, don’t run, you just go.’”

Just at that moment, a second police cruiser pulled up, Tyler Perry recounts, and a black Atlanta police officer came out. “He took one look at me and had that ‘Oh No’ look on his face,” the actor said.

The black policeman spoke “in a hushed tone” to the other two white officers, Perry continued. “After that, one of the officers stayed near his car while one came back, very apologetic.”

Perry was then released, but news reports do not indicate whether he was cited for his illegal left turn or tinted windows. According to the Georgia law, it requires drivers to approach a left turn from “the extreme left-hand lane” of a multi-lane road.

Four days later, Tyler Perry posted his encounter with the Atlanta police and it garnered more than 117,000 “likes,” 21,000 comments, and 12,000 shares. As such, Atlanta police have launched an internal investigation regarding the incident.
