Wiz Khalifa has been arrested for the second time in less than two weeks for the exact same crime of possessing marijuana. E! News was informed by authorities in Winston-Salem, N.C., that the 24-year-old Khalifa was ticketed and released following his concert there last night.
Local reports say that officers searched the tour bus of the ’Rolling Papers’ rapper before the show at Joel Coliseum Annex. Their search uncovered an unspecified amount of marijuana.
The Winston-Salem Police Department officially stated that, “These charges stemmed from marijuana use occuring on the tour buses prior to the concert.”
A rep for Wiz Khalifa -real name Cameron Jibril Thomaz- refused to comment on the matter.
Khalifa’s rising career might be in trouble if his love of weed proves greater than his love of performing.
Just recently, Khalifa was collared on pot possession charges at a Nashville hotel. Residents complained of a harsh odor wafting through the halls. Cops subsequently found a stash of marijuana in Khalifa’s room.
Wiz Khalifa is set to attend the hearing for his Nashville case on May 14. The court date for his second case has been scheduled for July 27.
